The new 2013 FordEscape is sure going to wow drivers in the greater Concord, CA area and beyond with its new hands-free liftgate.
After performing a swift kicking motion with the driver's foot underneath the compact SUV's rear bumper, the new device will automatically open the rear hatch on the new Escape. In order to avoid any mishaps or unintended openings that may result from a basketball running under the car or a dog running underneath the car, Ford has developed an added feature: the hatch only opens by motion sensor when the driver performing the kick-motion has the vehicle's keys in their possession.
